I can’t wait to glaze it and see what it looks like when it’s done!
You never know for sure what a piece will look like when it’s done… ‘til it’s done.

On top of the teal slip I did a dry brush speckle of yellow slip. and then I painted the tree on with shellac and let it dry.
I then began to wash away the slip that was not painted with the shellac. (a VERY tedious process)
So I regret to inform you that I forgot to take a picture of it before I put the coat of slip on, but really it would be the same thing only white.
This was coil built. If you look close to the right you can see the original object it’s based off of for proportion. In case you’re one of those people that can’t seem to scale things in your head… it’s about 13 inches wide/tall.
This has 3 thick coats of teal slip on it.
